Learning
a foreign language is a special accomplishment. Millionsof
people learn foreign language, but very few succeed in mastering it.
The
first and obvious reason is that learner of foreign language has had experience
with another language. It is native language structure which is his first
obstacle of learning a new language. The beginner In a foreign language has so
overlearned his first language that is hardfor him to say the same things in a
different way.
The Learning of the first language follows
the same pattern for everyone; the learning of foreign language can take on a
variety of pattern. Many factors are involved, among others linguistic,
psychological, and social.

depends on:

How the foreign language differs from the first, and
2)
The interference caused by the difference of the two language.
The
ability to learn a foreign language varies from person to person. There are
persons who have studied English for more than six years in a formal school,
yet who never succed in mastering it. Some of the reasons for their differences
are age, motives, intelegence and
personality, readiness to learn, and emotion.
Language is essentially a social
phenomenon, consequently, the social influences on its acquisition are many and
interrelated in complex ways. These influences are also responsible for
the learning of a foreign language.
