Early childhood education (PAUD) is the level of education before the level of basic education which is a coaching efforts aimed at children from birth up to the age of six years is done through the provision of educational stimulus to help growth and physical and spiritual development so that children have readiness in entering further education, organized on formal, informal, and informal channels.
Early childhood education is one form of education that focuses on laying the foundation toward physical growth and development (fine and coarse motor coordination), intelligence (intellect, creativity, emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence), emotional (attitude and behavioral as well as religion) language and communication, in accordance with the uniqueness and stages of development traversed by early childhood.There are two goals for early childhood education:The main objective: to establish a quality Indonesian child, the child who grows and develops in accordance with the level of development so as to have an optimal readiness in entering basic education and navigating life in adulthood.
 
Purpose of the Participant: to help prepare the child to achieve learning readiness (academic) in school.The coverage of early childhood according to Article 28 of the National Education System Law No. 20/2003 paragraph 1 is 0-6 years. Meanwhile, according to the study of science clusters of early childhood and its implementation in some countries, early childhood since the age of 0-8 years.
